Nickel strengthens on rising demand

Nickel prices advanced by Rs 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metals market today on increased demand from consuming industries.

Traders said rising demand from alloy-makers at domestic spot market, kept nickel prices higher.

In the national capital, nickel plate (4x4) were up by Rs 2 to Rs 930-932 per kg.

Zinc ingot Rs 135-141, nickel plate (4x4) Rs 930-932, gun metal scrap Rs 227, bell metal scrap Rs 229, copper mixed scrap Rs 442, chadri deshi Rs 295.

Lead ingot Rs 144, lead imported Rs 151, aluminum ingots Rs 168, aluminum sheet cutting Rs 164, aluminum wire scrap Rs 164 and aluminum utensils scrap Rs 162.
