Wholesalebox, a Jaipur based virtual marketplace for wholesale buying and selling, today said it raised Rs 15 crore in two rounds, led by Oreos Venture Partners.
The financing rounds also saw participation from other investors, including Contrarian Drishti Partners and Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund (RVCF), a statement said.
The funds will be used to expand the company's footprint in India, streamlining the supply-chain in the segment and on-boarding manufacturing and offline-store partners onto the platform, it added.

* DroniTech, a Mumbai-based startup focussed on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) software and artificial intelligence (AI) hardware, today said it has raised USD 500,000 in funding from security firm Eagle Group.
The funding will be used to drive product development and R&D in Mumbai/US, and to ramp up growth through sales and marketing, the company said in a statement.
"In 2018, we will focus our energies on a few priority markets like India, US, and Canada. In 2019 company looks to expand beyond these markets globally," it added.

redBus partners Google Maps
* redBus, an online bus ticketing platform, today said it has joined hands with Google Maps to provide inter-city bus transit information on the latter's platform.
"This partnership allows users of Google Maps to get all the inter-city bus transit information when they search for information on how to travel between two cities. So far, Google Maps has been presenting users with driving information and train transit information for inter-city searches," redBus said in a statement.
With the addition of inventory that redBus has meticulously stitched from 2,300 bus operators across India including government-run buses, Google will be able to present information on buses that ply between cities with the exact time and information on where to board the bus, it added.
