Spices rule stable in listless trade

Mumbai, Sept 12 (PTI) Spices ruled steady in an otherwise listless Spices market here Wednesday in the absence of any major buying activity.

Following are today's closing rates (in Rs with previous rates in brackets):

Black pepper (per kg) 380/425 (380/425), ginger unbleached (per kg) 210 (210), copra office Alappuzha (per quintal) 11,200 (11,200), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 11,000 (11,000), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 21,500 (21,500), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 14,700 (14,700).
