Bus overturns in Himachal, one killed
A private bus overturned on the Chandigarh-Manali road here on Friday morning, leaving a girl dead and 40 others injured, officials said.The tourist bus from Haryana was on its way to Manali when the accident took place.There were 44 people in the bus, including 35 students and six coordinators, SDM Bilaspur, Abhishek Kumar Garg said.Passersby pulled out the injured from the bus and rushed them to the Bilaspur Regional Hospital.

The tourist bus from Haryana was on its way to Manali when the accident took place.
There were 44 people in the bus, including 35 students and six coordinators, SDM Bilaspur, Abhishek Kumar Garg said.
Passersby pulled out the injured from the bus and rushed them to the Bilaspur Regional Hospital. While a girl hailing from Jaipur died, one passenger was referred to PGI Chandigarh and two to AIIMS Bilaspur.
Police have registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the driver of the bus. The driver and the conductor fled the spot after the accident, Garg added.
