China's embassy asks Chinese nationals in northern Myanmar area to evacuate

China's embassy in Myanmar on Friday asked Chinese nationals stranded in Kokang's Laukkai area in northern Myanmar to evacuate as soon as possible.

The risks to Chinese nationals in the area are high due to the continued fighting, the embassy said in a notice.
