The U.S. has imposed sanctions on two Russian nationals who have been indicted as part of a global operation against the Lockbit ransomware gang, according to a notice posted on the Treasury Department's website on Tuesday.

Artur Sungatov and Ivan Kondratyev were added to list of individuals subject to sanctions under cyber-related authorities, according to the notice.
