Brazil says talks for economic portion of G20 communique done
Brazil's coordinator of the finance track at the G20, Tatiana Rosito, said on Wednesday that negotiations for the economic portion of the group's communique have been successfully completed.
In a press briefing, Rosito said the atmosphere was "very positive" and the Brazilian government was satisfied following meetings between finance ministry and central bank deputies.
Amid Brazil's efforts to enhance the voice of countries from the Global South, she also highlighted the positive outcome of the first meeting of the BRICS group of emerging economies under the Russian presidency on Tuesday.
