Air India Partners with Delhi Metro for Seamless International Travel Check-in

Air India has partnered with Delhi Metro and Delhi airport to offer check-in and baggage drop facilities for international passengers at two metro stations. This service, previously limited to domestic flights, is now available at New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations from 7 am to 9 pm.

In a move aimed at enhancing passenger convenience, Air India announced on Tuesday its collaboration with Delhi Metro and Delhi airport. This partnership enables international travelers to check in and drop their baggage at two key metro stations in Delhi.

Previously exclusive to domestic routes, this facility will be extended to international flights at New Delhi and Shivaji Stadium metro stations, operational from 7 am to 9 pm. This service allows passengers to explore Delhi without the burden of luggage, as their bags will be securely transferred to the aircraft.

Air India's Chief Customer Experience Officer, Rajesh Dogra, commented, “This initiative offers a cost-effective and efficient solution, easing congestion at the airport and significantly enhancing customer convenience.”
