Housing prices in Ahmedabad have appreciated by an average 45 per cent in the last five years, driven by a surge in demand for residential properties, especially in the post-COVID era, according to PropTiger.
The average housing prices rose to Rs 4,150 per square feet in January-March this year, compared to Rs 2,867 per square feet in the same period of 2019, as compiled by real estate consultant PropTiger.
Furthermore, the data reveals a 10 per cent growth in housing prices during January-March 2024 from the previous year, exemplifying the robust economic environment of Ahmedabad, coupled with high safety standards, making it a leading housing market in India post-COVID.
