Vinayak Pai Elected President of Construction Federation of India
The Construction Federation of India (CFI) has elected Tata Projects MD & CEO Vinayak Pai as President of its national council for the term FY25-FY26. Other key appointments include Akhil Gupta as Vice President and Priti Patel as Treasurer. The council consists of representatives from leading infrastructure companies.

In a significant development, the Construction Federation of India (CFI) has appointed Vinayak Pai, MD & CEO of Tata Projects Ltd, as the President of its national council. The announcement, made on Sunday, confirms Pai's leadership for the upcoming two-year term spanning FY25-FY26.
The National Council has also elected Akhil Gupta, Executive Director & CEO of Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Pvt. Ltd, as Vice President and Priti Patel, Deputy Director of Patel Engineering Ltd, as Treasurer. The council comprises executives from prominent infrastructure construction companies across India, including Ajit Bhate, Managing Director of Precast India Infrastructures, and Arjun Dhawan, Vice Chairman of Hindustan Construction Company Ltd.
Other distinguished members joining the council are Hardik Agrawal, Director at Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon, M V Satish, Adviser to CMD for Buildings & Member ECOM at L&T Ltd, Nalin Gupta, Managing Director of J Kumar Infraprojects, Krishnam Raju P, Vice President at NCC Ltd, and Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director & CEO at KEC International. Additionally, Yogen Lal, CEO of Welspun Enterprises Ltd, is also part of the council. Ajit Gulabchand was unanimously nominated as President Emeritus. Since its inception in 2000, CFI has been actively involved in policy advocacy and enhancing cooperation between industry stakeholders and government bodies.
