NBCC Bags Rs 100 Crore Contract from Oil India, Expands Portfolio with Multiple Projects

State-owned NBCC (India) Limited has won a Rs 100 crore contract from Oil India to build a centralised core repository with advanced laboratory facilities in Guwahati, Assam. The company is also in discussions for additional projects worth Rs 900 crore in Assam and has secured other contracts across India.

State-owned NBCC (India) Limited has secured a significant contract worth Rs 100 crore from Oil India for the construction of a centralised core repository and advanced laboratory facilities in Guwahati, Assam, the company announced on Wednesday.

According to a statement from NBCC, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for this project was signed by Saloma Yomdo, ED (E&D) of Oil India, and Pradeep Sharma, ED (Engg.) of NBCC, in the presence of several key officials from both organizations, including CMDs Ranjit Rath (OIL) and K P Mahadevaswamy (NBCC).

The two entities are also finalising other major projects, including a hospital, group housing, and solar rooftop panels, with an estimated total value of Rs 900 crore. Additionally, NBCC has received significant orders for the development of various infrastructure projects across India, including a Rs 700 crore development for Kochi Metro Rail Ltd in Kerala and construction projects for University of Delhi and ICSI in Hyderabad.
