Kerala Government Steps in to Aid KSRTC with One-Time Salary Payout

The Kerala government has announced its support to the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) for paying employee salaries in one go. The decision was made in a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Previously, KSRTC had been paying salaries in installments due to financial issues.

The Kerala government has committed to aiding the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) by facilitating a one-time salary payout for its employees. This decision was confirmed during a meeting led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, addressing ongoing challenges faced by the KSRTC.

As per the statement released by the Chief Minister's office, arrangements will now be made for KSRTC employees to receive their monthly salaries in a single payout. The government will extend its assistance to ensure this new payment structure is maintained.

For several months, KSRTC has been struggling financially, resulting in salaries being paid in installments. The meeting also involved State Transport Minister K B Ganesh Kumar, Finance Minister K N Balagopal, and KSRTC CMD Pramoj Shankar, who discussed the corporation's financial difficulties and possible solutions.
