Nagendrum Borugadda, a 46-year-old electrician from Andhra Pradesh, India, has claimed a life-changing AED 1 million (approximately Rs 2.25 crore) cash prize in Dubai, according to a local news report on Tuesday.

Residing in the UAE since 2017, Borugadda has been diligently saving AED 100 with National Bonds through direct debit since 2019. His commitment has paid off, making him a millionaire and ensuring a brighter future for his 18-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son, as reported by Khaleej Times.

“I came to the UAE to build a better life for my family and provide good education to my children. This win feels surreal,” Borugadda shared in his heartfelt statement to the newspaper.
