Tragic Drowning Incident in Greater Noida IT Firm: Safety Negligence Alleged

In a tragic incident at a Greater Noida-based Information Technology company, three maintenance workers drowned in a sewage treatment plant, authorities confirmed on Tuesday. The unfortunate event has raised serious questions about workplace safety.

Identified as Mohit (22), Hargovind (26), and Ankit Kumar (21), the deceased were allegedly working without adequate safety equipment. Rahul Singh, Mohit's brother, lodged a complaint that has resulted in the registration of a case under IPC section 304A against the company management.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Greater Noida) Ashok Kumar stated that an investigation is currently underway. The company has yet to issue an official response, while the victims' families demand justice and stringent action against those responsible for the apparent negligence.
