Leading textile manufacturer Raymond has announced an ambitious expansion plan for its ethnic wear brand, 'Ethnix by Raymond'. According to the company's latest annual report, Raymond intends to open over 100 new stores nationwide by fiscal 2025.
Ethnix by Raymond, launched a few years ago to cater to occasions and celebrations, already boasts more than 114 stores. The brand aims to tap into India's booming ethnic wear market, fueled by glitzy weddings and elaborate festivities.
'As Indian weddings become more extravagant, we are expanding our store footprint to reach customers across the country,' Chairman and Managing Director Gautam Hari Singhania stated at a shareholders' meeting. He added that the brand's robust performance contributes significantly to Raymond's branded apparel segment.
