The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA) has announced a substantial increase in the user development fee (UDF) at Jaipur Airport, hiking it to Rs 805 per domestic departing passenger from August 1.
The fee revision aligns with development proposals worth Rs 6,000 crore by Jaipur International Airport Ltd (JIAL). Currently at Rs 394, the UDF for domestic departures will more than double. Additionally, arriving passengers will now incur a fee of Rs 345.
This escalation in tariff comes as part of a strategic move to bolster infrastructure and passenger facilities over the next few years. However, international departure UDF will be reduced from Rs 1,237 to Rs 980, and the same is set for a series of increments through 2026-27.
