The relations between China and Nepal are premised on peaceful coexistence, equality, and collaboration. This was reaffirmed during Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to Nepal in 2019, which elevated the bilateral ties to a strategic partnership focused on achieving mutual development and prosperity.
