Co-working firm COWRKS has opened four new centres in Mumbai and Bengaluru, encompassing an area of 1.4 lakh square feet to meet the growing demand for flexible office spaces.

Owned by Brookfield Properties, COWRKS offers premium workspace solutions in India and operates 34 centres in six major cities with over 21,000 desks.

This recent expansion increases COWRKS' total footprint across India to 15 lakh square feet, according to a statement from the company on Thursday.

'The launch of these new centres reflects the growing demand for Grade A flexible office solutions from both startups and large enterprises, aligning with our strategic goals,' said Parul Thakur, Senior Vice President & Business Head at COWRKS.

Thakur noted that the demand is driven by the need for workspaces that provide operational efficiencies, workspace flexibility, employee engagement, and business continuity.

COWRKS caters to a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, startups, and notable unicorns.
