The driver of a pickup truck involved in a tragic accident that killed three individuals earlier this week has been apprehended, police reported on Thursday. Authorities identified the vehicle by scrutinizing CCTV footage from multiple locations, including Mangolpuri and Tilak Nagar. The accident on July 14 resulted in the deaths of Ashish (25), Pawan (20), and Suraj (20), who were riding a scooter. They were declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
The vehicle was registered to Ram Shankar Yadav of Nassirpur Colony, Palam, but was driven by Mahender Kumar at the time of the incident. Kumar has confessed to his involvement in the Vikaspuri flyover accident, and the truck has been impounded.
