A tragic accident on a Latur district highway claimed two lives and left three critically injured after a speeding car slammed into a parked tractor trolley, police confirmed on Saturday.
The tractor trolley, loaded with electric materials for a state discom, was hit from behind by the car around 8:30 PM on Friday. The victims included Dinesh Dandagule, 47, and Sachin Kusalkar, 35, while among the injured were individuals originally from West Bengal.
The impact caused the car to be thrown off the road, with its front end destroyed. Local villagers immediately responded to assist the injured.
