Ramkumar Shankar Elected President of Madras Chamber of Commerce

The over century-old Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry has elected Ramkumar Shankar, Managing Director of Chemplast-Sanmar Ltd, as its President for 2024-26. A Viswanathan of Delphi TVS Technologies Ltd has been elected Vice-President. Shankar emphasized the Chamber's commitment to industrial development in Tamil Nadu.

Ramkumar Shankar, the Managing Director of Chemplast-Sanmar Ltd, has been elected President of the Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the 2024-26 term, the chamber announced Tuesday.

At its 188th Annual General Meeting, the chamber also elected A Viswanathan, President of Delphi TVS Technologies Ltd, as Vice-President.

Shankar stated that the Chamber remains dedicated to its members and the industrial development of Tamil Nadu, aiming to ensure the state's advancement towards being the top state in India.
