Mahindra & Mahindra, the Mumbai-based auto giant, announced on Thursday that its wholesale numbers edged up marginally to 66,444 units in July.
According to the company's statement, total dispatches to dealers reached 66,124 units in July 2023. Domestic market passenger vehicle sales surged by 15%, hitting 41,623 units compared to 36,205 units in the same month last year.
However, the positive trend in the domestic market was offset by a sharp 40% decline in exports to 1,515 units last month from 2,540 units in July 2022. Despite this, Mahindra's tractor sales rose to 27,209 units, significantly higher than the 25,175 units sold during the same period the previous year.
