Three Coaches Derail at Saharanpur Station

Three coaches of an empty local train derailed at Saharanpur station as it was taken to a washing shed. No injuries were reported. Divisional Railway Manager Mandeep Singh Bhatia confirmed the incident didn’t affect main line traffic. An investigation is underway.

Three coaches of an empty local train derailed while being transported to a washing shed from Saharanpur railway station on Sunday, officials confirmed.

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Ambala division, Mandeep Singh Bhatia, informed reporters that the MEMU train was unoccupied and no injuries occurred. 'The incident took place on the washing line around 3 pm. As a result, main line train traffic remained unaffected. We are currently investigating the causes of the derailment, and repairs on the track are ongoing,' the DRM stated.

The investigation aims to identify the reasons behind the derailment and ensure that all safety protocols are followed to prevent future incidents.
