AP Chambers Push for More SIDBI Branches in MSME Clusters

AP Chambers of Commerce president P Bhaskar Rao has urged SIDBI Chairman Manoj Mittal to open more branches in Andhra Pradesh's MSME clusters. Rao highlighted the need for new branches in Machilipatnam, Kakinada, Guntur, and Kurnool to improve credit access and support industrial development in the state.

In a bid to boost industrial development, AP Chambers of Commerce & Industry Federation President, P Bhaskar Rao, has called on the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) to expand its branch network in Andhra Pradesh.

Rao specifically requested new branches in Machilipatnam, Kakinada, Guntur, and Kurnool, citing the strategic importance of these locations for MSME clusters.

The current SIDBI branches in Vijayawada, Vizag, and Tirupati have been praised for their role in improving credit flow to MSMEs, but Rao stressed that additional branches could further address financial and developmental challenges.
