Zuari Industries Reports Q1 Net Loss Amid Declining Total Income

Zuari Industries Ltd reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 33.34 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal. This is an improvement from the Rs 47.19 crore loss in the same period last year. Total income dropped to Rs 242.02 crore in the April-June period from Rs 272.98 crore the previous year.

Zuari Industries Ltd on Saturday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 33.34 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.

This marks an improvement over the net loss of Rs 47.19 crore recorded in the corresponding period last year.

Total income for the company also declined, falling to Rs 242.02 crore in the April-June period, down from Rs 272.98 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, according to a regulatory filing.

Zuari Industries Limited, the apex company of the Adventz Group, is involved in various sectors including sugar, power, ethanol, agro-chemicals, engineering and real estate.
