As of now, 36% of the project is complete, signaling a significant milestone in enhancing the region's connectivity and economic development. Naidu emphasized the need for expedited work to meet the deadline and reiterated the project's prestige for the NDA-led government. The airport, under development by the GMR Group, has seen three inspections by Naidu in the past month. Meanwhile, the government is expanding its regional air connectivity initiatives.
