Trainer Aircraft Crashes in Madhya Pradesh: Pilots Injured

In a distressing incident on Sunday, a trainer aircraft belonging to a private aviation academy crashed at an airstrip in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district, leaving two pilots injured, according to local police.
The mishap involved a two-seater Cessna 152 plane, which crashed around 1.30 pm after being airborne for 40 minutes. Preliminary investigations suggest the cause could be an engine failure, noted Guna Cantt police station in-charge, Dileep Rajoria.
Fortunately, the two pilots onboard, identified as V Chandra Thakur and Nagesh Kumar from Hyderabad, sustained injuries but are reported to be out of danger. They have been admitted to a local hospital for treatment. The plane had arrived a few days ago for testing and maintenance, and aviation officials are set to conduct a detailed probe into the incident, authorities confirmed.
