A shocking accident occurred on the Hebbal flyover on Monday at 9:30 am when a state-owned Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus lost control and ploughed into multiple vehicles. CCTV footage captured the heart-stopping moment as the bus driver crashed into several bikes and cars, despite warnings from the bus conductor to apply the brake.
Upon halting the bus, both the driver and the conductor rushed out to assist a person who was seen writhing in pain. The injured individual is now being treated for a leg fracture at a hospital, according to a BMTC official. Thankfully, no casualties were reported.
The incident, which took place near Esteem Team mall while the bus was en route to HSR Layout from the international airport, is currently under thorough investigation by authorities. They aim to examine all relevant factors surrounding this alarming accident to prevent future occurrences.
