Smartworks Coworking Spaces Ltd, which is gearing up for its IPO debut, revealed a consolidated net loss of nearly Rs 50 crore in the past fiscal year due to heightened expenses.

Last week, the company, a leading provider of managed office space to corporates, submitted a draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) to the capital markets regulator SEBI to raise funds via an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

As per the DRHP, Smartworks reported a net loss of Rs 49.95 crore for fiscal 2023-24, a significant reduction from the Rs 101 crore loss in the previous year. Meanwhile, total income surged to Rs 1,113.11 crore, compared to Rs 744 crore in the preceding year.
