Trainer Aircraft Missing in Jharkhand: Massive Search Underway

A two-seater trainer aircraft went missing after taking off from Sonari aerodrome in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district. Officials launched a massive search operation to locate it. The aircraft was last tracked near Nimdih in Seraikela-Kharsawan district. Multiple agencies including local administrations, police, and the Forest Department are involved in the search.

A two-seater trainer aircraft went missing after taking off from Sonari aerodrome in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district on Tuesday, prompting a massive search operation, officials reported.

The aircraft departed from Jamshedpur's Sonari aerodrome around 11 am and was last located near Nimdih in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district, according to East Singhbhum's Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal.

Search operations are currently being conducted by the administrations of East Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharswan districts, police, and the Forest Department in the areas surrounding Nimdih and adjoining Purulia district of West Bengal.
