Tata Motors Expands Charging Network for Electric Commercial Vehicles

Tata Motors on Wednesday announced its partnership with Delta Electronics India and Thunderplus Solutions to set up charging infrastructure for its range of electric commercial vehicles (CVs).
In an MoU signed between the parties, 250 new fast-charging stations for electric commercial vehicles will be established across India, covering over 50 cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, and Kochi.
These additional stations will enhance the existing network of 540 commercial vehicle charging points. Tata Motors will identify optimal locations and nearest dealerships for these stations. Delta Electronics will provide the hardware, while Thunderplus Solutions will manage installation and operation. This expansion aims to encourage wider adoption of commercial EVs, boosting vehicle uptime, revenues, and contributing to a greener environment.
