Hyundai Launches Export of Entry-Level SUV Exter to South Africa
Hyundai Motor India has started exporting its entry-level SUV, Exter, to South Africa. The first lot of 996 units marks the eighth model sent to South Africa from India. Hyundai's Tamil Nadu plant primarily produces these export models.

Hyundai Motor India announced on Monday that it has commenced exports of its entry-level SUV, Exter, to South Africa.
This model is now the eighth to be exported to South Africa from India, the company stated. The first shipment includes 996 units of the Exter.
Hyundai already exports several models including Grand i10 NIOS, Aura, i20, i20 N Line, and Venue. According to Jae Wan Ryu, Corporate Planning Function Head at Hyundai Motor India, South Africa remains a key export market, with most models produced at the Tamil Nadu plant heading there.
