The International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF), in partnership with Salem Boxing Club, recently hosted an inspiring charity event at the Don Bosco Anbu Illam orphanage in Salem, Tamil Nadu. Aimed at uplifting the spirits of the 55 children residing there, the event combined essential supplies distribution with lively sports and entertainment activities, creating a day filled with joy and camaraderie.
Led by Mr. Samidurai C and supported by a dedicated team of 13 volunteers, the initiative focused on bringing meaningful change to the children's lives. Essential food items and sports equipment were donated by Salem Boxing Club, enhancing the children's living conditions and providing opportunities for recreational enjoyment. The volunteers actively engaged with the children, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere where each child felt valued and cared for.
The event's success was marked by the laughter and smiles of the children as they participated in games like football, cricket, and carrom. Such activities not only brought delight but also taught teamwork and collaboration, crucial skills often unavailable to the children.
