Ather Energy has announced a milestone by recording its highest monthly dispatches in October, with more than 20,000 scooters shipped across the nation.
The new family scooter model, Rizta, has driven this success, comprising about 60 to 70 percent of the month's total volume. This achievement builds on Ather's September performance, where retail sector sales hit 12,828 units, boosting its national market share from 7.9 percent in July to 14.3 percent in September.
The electric vehicle segment in India saw approximately 70 percent year-on-year growth in October. Last month, Ather Energy also filed for an initial public offering (IPO) aiming to raise Rs 4,500 crore. The company is expanding its infrastructure, with 231 Experience Centres and 2,500 fast charging stations nationwide, and plans for a new manufacturing plant in Maharashtra.
