Safran Aircraft Engines, a leading French engine manufacturer, has partnered with Titan Engineering and Automation Limited (TEAL) to produce parts for the Leading Edge Aviation Propulsion (LEAP) engine. This agreement was finalized at Aero India and marks the first collaboration between the two companies.

The partnership aligns with the Indian government's 'Make in India' initiative, aimed at bolstering the country's aerospace industry. The production of the turbine's components is set to begin in 2026, leveraging TEAL's advanced technological capabilities.

Safran is committed to expanding its industrial ecosystem in India, with plans to open a sixth site for maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations in Hyderabad by 2025. The endeavor underscores Safran's intention to strengthen its presence in India's growing aviation market.
