IIIT-Hyderabad and GeoVista Forge Alliance to Pioneer Advanced AI Solutions

IIIT-Hyderabad, IHub-Data, and GeoVista Technologies have entered into an MoU to develop AI-driven analytics and software solutions. This collaboration aims to tackle challenges across various sectors, including Infrastructure, Agriculture, and Urban Planning, by blending cutting-edge research with extensive geospatial expertise.

IIIT-Hyderabad, along with IHub-Data and GeoVista Technologies, has announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop innovative AI-based analytics and software solutions. The agreement aims to utilize technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, and geo-AI to address real-world issues in sectors like infrastructure and agriculture.

The partnership combines the academic and research prowess of IIIT-Hyderabad and IHub-Data with GeoVista's extensive experience in geospatial solutions and engineering services. This collaboration is expected to set new benchmarks in technological efficiency, specifically tailored for India's diverse landscape.

Professor KS Rajan, the principal investigator from IIIT-Hyderabad, highlighted the strategic importance of this partnership in scaling AI and data science solutions. He anticipates the partnership will bring significant advancements in areas like agriculture and climate change impact assessments. Srikanth Nori, Managing Director of GeoVista, expressed excitement about harnessing AI capabilities to tackle complex engineering and geospatial challenges.
