In a tragic accident on the Varanasi-Sultanpur highway, two people died, and ten others sustained injuries when a mini-bus carrying pilgrims from Varanasi to Ayodhya collided with a trailer early Thursday morning.

The accident took place around 2 am near Chak Mirzapur village in the Baksha police station area. The deceased were identified as Tarkeshwar Singh, the mini-bus driver, and Hardayal Chand.

Following the collision, emergency services rushed to the scene, and a rescue operation was launched. Authorities used heavy machinery to free trapped passengers. The injured, primarily from Punjab, are receiving treatment at a district hospital.
