Delhi Metro Boosts Student Support for Smooth CBSE Exam Commute

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is prioritizing students for frisking and ticketing to facilitate smooth travel during CBSE exams. Collaborating with the CISF, special measures are being implemented to manage increased footfall from February 15 to April 4. Initiatives include priority security checks, metro-to-school information, and centralized announcements.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced a set of initiatives designed to ease the travel experience for students attending CBSE board examinations. With exams scheduled from February 15 to April 4, the DMRC is partnering with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to implement special measures for the occasion.

Among the steps being taken, students presenting their CBSE admit cards will receive priority during security checks and ticket purchases at various points, including ticket office machines and customer care centers. The DMRC has also engaged with school principals to distribute information about accessible metro stations, providing further assistance with travel arrangements.

To ensure students are well-informed, additional support features such as centralized announcements at metro stations are planned. A comprehensive list of metro stations near examination centers has been made available on the DMRC website and app, further aiding in students’ preparations.
