UAE-headquartered metal manufacturer Ducab Metals Business is expanding its focus on India, one of its most rapidly developing markets. Accounting for 25% of the company's global exports, India is pivotal to Ducab's expansion plans under the India-UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) set for 2025, as per the company statement released Monday.

The firm plans to double its operations in India by 2025 by capitalizing on India's industrial transformation. Ducab Metals Business reported a 12% revenue increase globally in 2024, with 2025 projections suggesting a 15% rise. In volume terms, a 4% growth was recorded in 2024, with an anticipated 21% increase in 2025, driven by rising market demand and strategic initiatives.

Under the India-UAE CEPA, initiated on February 18, 2022, and effective since May 1, 2022, the two nations aim for USD 100 billion in non-oil trade by 2030. Ducab, noted for being the MENA region's sole copper and aluminium producer, is positioned as a key partner for India's burgeoning industries. CEO Mohamed Al Ahmedi expressed commitment to India's industrial growth, emphasizing Ducab's dedication to innovation and economic contribution. The firm's strategic acquisition of GIC Magnet boosts confidence in its India ventures. Ducab manufactures high-quality copper rods and cables, exporting to over 75 countries including regions in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
