State-owned NTPC has announced an additional interim dividend of Rs 2,424 crore for the financial year ending March 2025, reinforcing its longstanding commitment to shareholders. This payout follows a previous interim dividend of the same amount in November 2024.

The company's latest dividend represents 25% of its paid-up equity share capital. With this, NTPC's total dividend distribution for the current fiscal has reached Rs 8,000 crore, including a final dividend of Rs 3,152 crore for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, paid in September 2024.
