New Delhi, February 27: I Create India, a renowned non-profit organization committed to developing entrepreneurial skills, celebrated a milestone 25th anniversary with an event on February 26th at the Manekshaw Centre Ashoka Hall in Delhi. Established to transform job seekers into job creators, the organization has been pivotal in helping army veterans and underserved communities foster entrepreneurial abilities over the last 25 years.
The Silver Jubilee event was a testament to the success of over 25 army veterans who, through I Create's rigorous training and mentorship programs, have turned entrepreneurs. A significant factor in this achievement is the organization's collaboration with the Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV), which has paved the way for Business Incubation Centres (BICs) at 17 military locations across the country. These centers offer resources and support for veterans to successfully launch their ventures, significantly impacting their post-military careers.
Among the highlights of the event was the release of a coffee table book and the launch of the book 'How to Minimize Business Failure' by I Create Chief Mentor Ulhas Kamat, providing essential advice for micro and small business sustainability. Attended by Lt. Gen. Ranjeet Singh as Chief Guest, the event also honored veterans who have excelled in their entrepreneurial endeavors, marking I Create's commitment to addressing India's employment challenges. Founder Harsh Bhargava reiterated the organization's mission to empower veterans, women, and youth as they embark on transforming the nation's economy through business innovation.
