Innovacion 2025, a high-profile techno-management festival, recently took place in Kolkata, organized by the Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM) and University of Engineering & Management (UEM). Collaborating with SMART Society, USA, and the Rotary Club of Salt Lake Silicon Valley, the event saw participation from top institutions both nationally and internationally.

The festival began with a Women's Day tribute honoring remarkable women achievers. With over 150 innovative projects and 100 technical posters, it offered a global platform for research exchange. Students presented pioneering solutions in AI, robotics, sustainable energy, and health. Notable student innovations included the Waste Oil Recycler and AI-Powered Smart Helmet.

Eminent industry figures and academic leaders, such as Manjit Nayak of STPI Kolkata and Abhijit Pal of Tech Mahindra, graced the event. It fostered partnerships between academia and industry and provided a robust ecosystem for mentorship and potential funding. Prof. Satyajit Chakrabarti noted its evolution into a world-class showcase for talent and technology.

This year's event drew an audience exceeding 10,000, with attendees and collaborators from over 100 institutions and 15 countries. Prof. Dr. Rajashree Paul highlighted its role in nurturing interdisciplinary research. Innovacion 2025 reaffirmed the IEM-UEM's dedication to research excellence, entrepreneurship, and international innovation networks.
