Aliaxis to Boost Ashirvad Pipes' Capacity with Rs 550 Crore Investment
Belgium-based Aliaxis will invest Rs 550 crore in India to expand Ashirvad Pipes' capacity by 30% through new greenfield and brownfield projects. The expansion, aiming to elevate market share by 5-6%, includes new facilities in Hyderabad and Chennai and upgrades in Cuttack and Durgapur.

Belgium-based fluid management giant Aliaxis plans to invest over Rs 550 crore in India to expand its Ashirvad Pipes venture, according to a company official on Monday. The investment will fund both greenfield and brownfield projects, increasing capacity by 30%.
The ambitious expansion plan includes two new manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad and Chennai offering a combined investment of Rs 400 crore, as per Ashirvad Pipes CEO Partha Sarathi Basu. This development aims to increase production capacity from 3 lakh tonnes to 4 lakh tonnes annually.
In addition to enhancing capacity, Ashirvad Pipes aims to capture an additional 5-6% market share, reaching a total of 17-18% in the organized segment. The strategic investments also target facility expansions in Cuttack and Durgapur, with Aliaxis reinforcing its global competitive edge with cutting-edge technologies.
