Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met with the European Union Ambassador to India, Hervé Delphin, at the ambassador's official residence in New Delhi. The meeting centered around thanking the EU for its support during the Advantage Assam Summit 2.0 held in Guwahati.

The discussions opened doors for potential collaborations in sectors such as clean energy, semiconductors, higher education, skill development, and the aromatics and fragrances industry. Notably, Delphin mentioned that the EU is contemplating establishing a Programme Management Office in Guwahati.

Sarma welcomed this development and assured that the Assam government, under the Ministry of External Affairs' guidance, would extend full support. The chief minister also expressed his gratitude via social media for the EU's ongoing commitment to fostering relations with Assam.
