Shruti Shibulal Boosts Infosys Stake with Major Share Acquisition

Shruti Shibulal, daughter of Infosys co-founder SD Shibulal, acquired additional shares in Infosys worth Rs 469 crore through an open market transaction. The purchase involved 29.84 lakh shares at Rs 1,574 each. Simultaneously, family member Gaurav Manchanda sold an equivalent number of shares.

Shruti Shibulal, a key promoter of Infosys, made headlines Wednesday by purchasing additional shares worth Rs 469 crore from the open market.

Shruti, the daughter of Infosys' co-founder and former CEO SD Shibulal, acquired 29.84 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 1,574 each, as per block deal data from NSE.

This transaction comes in the wake of Gaurav Manchanda, another family member, selling the same volume of shares at the identical price. Infosys shares dipped 4.31% to close at Rs 1,590.05 on NSE.
