Ujjain's Vikramotsav 2025 Unveils Unique Antakshari Blending Sanskrit Shlokas with Music

Vikramotsav 2025 in Ujjain witnessed a groundbreaking Antakshari, combining Bollywood tunes with Sanskrit shlokas and Hindi dohas. Hosted by Annu Kapoor, the event attracted thousands at Tower Chowk. Six teams vied in rounds exploring musical and familial links, while Kapoor's performance turned the night into a musical symphony.

Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh – An unprecedented Antakshari competition, introducing a blend of Bollywood melodies, Sanskrit shlokas, and Hindi dohas, marked Vikramotsav 2025. Eminent actor Dr. Annu Kapoor hosted this cultural milestone, drawing an impressive crowd at Tower Chowk, eager to engage in the unique musical celebration.

Orchestrated by Studio Refuel producer Kumarr, the event executed flawlessly, giving a new platform to Ujjain's cultural richness. Approximately 7,000 spectators attended, witnessing mesmerizing performances, including Kapoor's live rendition of 'Deewana Hua Baadal, Sawan Ki Ghata Chhayi,' which transformed the atmosphere into a harmonious chorus.

The competition featured intriguing rounds, challenging six teams – Deewane, Mastane, Parwane, Afsane, Yaarane, and Tarane – to unravel familial connections between film personalities while singing their hits. Adding to the excitement was a lively round where the iconic 'Havan Karenge' unleashed spontaneous dancing among attendees, underscoring the festival’s vibrant energy.
