Global travel tech platform OYO has achieved the status of the most profitable Indian startup, recording a profit after tax of Rs 623 crore in the 2024-25 financial year. Founder Ritesh Agarwal disclosed this to employees during a town hall meeting, according to sources.

Documents obtained by PTI reveal that OYO's unaudited financials boast a significant 172% increase in profit after tax (PAT), up from Rs 229 crore in the previous year. The company's adjusted EBITDA also saw a notable increase, reaching Rs 1,132 crore for FY25, marking a 27% year-on-year growth.

OYO's strategic expansion into premium offerings has played a vital role in its financial growth, with revenue rising to Rs 6,463 crore, a 20% increase from the previous year. The company has successfully integrated G6 Hospitality, alongside launching over 30 new Sunday Hotels across key regions.
