Shares of Reliance Power skyrocketed by more than 11% on Monday after the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 126 crore for the fourth quarter of FY25.
The stock closed at Rs 42.77 on the BSE, marking an increase of 10.66%, and at one point during the day, it surged 13.60% to Rs 43.91. On the NSE, it rose by 11.25% to close at Rs 43.
This impressive performance was supported by a decrease in expenses, boosting the company's market valuation by Rs 1,654.99 crore to Rs 17,180.58 crore, despite a drop in total income to Rs 2,066 crore compared to the same period last year.
