Karnataka's Industrial Ambitions: Epiroc's Expansion in Focus

Karnataka's Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, M B Patil, conducted a pivotal meeting with Sweden-based company Epiroc. The discussions occurred during a roadshow, aiming to explore the firm's expansion opportunities in the state.
This initiative is part of Karnataka's strategic efforts to allure global investments and reinforce its stature as a robust center for advanced manufacturing, innovation, and research.
The Minister's office further reported that Patil engaged with Arun Kumar, head of Epiroc's India operations, who shared the company's long-term aspirations and detailed an investment plan that includes Rs 500 crore this year and Rs 1,000 crore by 2030. Patil highlighted Karnataka's industrial strengths and talent pool, making the case for Epiroc's expanded manufacturing presence in the state.
