Jindal Steel & Power Limited (JSPL) has embarked on a transformative healthcare venture in rural Jharkhand, unveiling the 'Hospital on Wheels' initiative in Patratu. This innovative mobile clinic aims to bridge the healthcare gap in remote areas by primarily focusing on gynecology, maternal and child healthcare while offering a comprehensive range of medical services.

Inaugurated by the Chairperson of the Jindal Foundation, Smt. Shallu Jindal, the launch saw participation from key officials including Shri Ashish Agarwal, Deputy Divisional Commissioner, Ramgarh, and Dr. Mahalaxmi Prasad, Civil Surgeon. The facility is equipped with consultation chambers, diagnostic tools, and instant pathology capabilities to address common illnesses, ensuring quick diagnosis and treatment for rural populations.

As the 'Hospital on Wheels' prioritizes women's and children's health, it also caters to non-communicable diseases and other primary health issues. Smt. Shallu Jindal emphasized that this initiative is more than a healthcare service; it is a lifeline for many families in remote areas. Government officials and health professionals have lauded the project for its potential to increase health awareness and provide equitable care.
